27 2 2010 News—Help Needing In Updating Site From TRDG?

The Tinshill Recreation Ground farce continues, drainage work completed last year has been a disaster and the Council are trying to get it to work!Huge holes have been dug and loads of bricks have been stacked on our field, much digging continues and Otley Old Road has been made muddy at times, due to the work. Please click on Photo Gallery 2010 Feb, 3/3 and 4/3! There are tales of local houses being flooded, and the new access steps looking like waterfalls when it rains. The two levelled pitches, for school use during the day are muddy and waterlogged in places, with scattered litter.

Latest news on 4/3 is that Cllr Sue Bentley is to visit and will report mud on road to Highways department!

Mud, Litter and Fences on 26 February 2010

Members Tinshill Recreation De-Fence Group are asked to make comments on updating this web site following a lack of progress in re-instating our recreation ground by the council, and a series of forthcoming planning applications that need to be commented upon.

 

I have deleted two pages, that are out of date, those on equality monitoring and skateboard park, issues that have gone  away for now.

 

I am marking pages as historical, or to be updated, and hope a meeting of our group can be arranges soon, Alan
